Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work on Kreoly, operated by Kreoly LLC. It is part of our Terms of Service. Because Kreoly provides immediate access to digital content and pays creators out of the amounts they earn, memberships and pledges are generally non-refundable except as described below or where required by law.
1. Cancelling a membership
You can cancel a paid membership at any time from your account. Cancellation stops all future renewals. Your membership stays active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and that final period is not prorated or partially refunded. You will not be charged again after you cancel.
Free memberships can be cancelled at any time and end immediately.
2. Membership refunds
Paid memberships renew automatically and grant immediate access to a creator’s members-only content, so renewal payments are generally non-refundable. That said, we want billing to be fair. We will review refund requests in good faith and typically issue a refund for:
- a duplicate or clearly accidental charge;
- a charge you did not authorize;
- a renewal you contact us about promptly (within 7 days) and before you have meaningfully used the new period’s content; or
- a technical problem on our side that prevented you from accessing what you paid for.
Because creators are paid out of their earnings, some refund decisions may involve the relevant creator. We will work with you and the creator to resolve issues fairly.
3. Crowdfunding pledges
Pledges to crowdfunding campaigns are one-time payments and are generally non-refundable once made, as funds go toward the creator’s project. If a campaign is cancelled by the creator before it ends, or if a charge was duplicated or unauthorized, contact us and we will arrange a refund where appropriate. Creators — not Kreoly — are responsible for delivering campaign rewards; if you have an issue with a reward, contact us and we will help mediate with the creator.
4. How to request a refund
Email us at kreollyllc@gmail.com from the email on your account, and include the approximate date and amount of the charge and the creator involved. We aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through Stripe; depending on your bank, it may take several business days to appear.
5. Chargebacks
If something looks wrong with a charge, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in your account being suspended while the dispute is reviewed.
